Quality Built for Better Living

After driving by the factory for years and meeting Rick Killday at the Home Show, the Hacketts decided to build their forever home with Homeway Homes. Concerned about having to stick with a certain floor plan, they were surprised to find out they could customize their home to be exactly how they wanted it to be. Not only was their home build custom for them, it was build with the quality and integrity you can always expect from a Homeway Home. Check out the whole story.

Homeway Homes Happy Homeowners Dan Vogel FamilyThe Vogels are in their new home.

Dan Vogel and his wife have been in their new Homeway Homes-built house in Secor since Jan. 23 and they are pleased with what they get to come home to everyday.

Certainly pleased enough that they would recommend Homeway Homes to anybody considering building a home, Dan said. They worked with Rick and Joel from Homeway’s model home center in Goodfield and had a good experience, he added.

“We went with a very modified Montana floor plan because we’d always liked that style of home and the basic design of it was right for us,” Dan said. “We knew pretty much what we wanted inside the house when we first went and Joel was fantastic to work with on the design end of it.”

The Vogels signed their contract in late August 2015, which was six months after they started the process. But Dan said that was all on his family, not Homeway. “We had to decide on everything we wanted and that took a while. Once those decisions were made it went pretty fast. We are pleased,” he said.

“We would definitely recommend Homeway Homes to others, especially if they want to work with good people and want to get it done pretty quickly.”

Homeway Homes Happy Homeowners The Hurleys IMG 7067Ah, the Happy Homeowners! Meet the Hurleys.

When Terry and Joyce Hurley saw a Homeway Home for the first time, they knew they had to have one of their own.

That day is here. The Hurley’s new home is finished and now on-site in rural Lewistown. The final painting touches are being applied and the move-in is expected this month, Joyce said recently.

“We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Homeway. We could not have asked for anybody better to guide us along the way than Bruce Leman and James Knapp (in the Goodfield Model Home Center). They found a floorplan that met our needs and it all has been wonderful,” Joyce said.

It took four months from start to finish and that includes a delay of nearly a month because wet weather turned the unfinished property where the building site is into what she described as “a muddy mess.”

But when the opportunity arrived, the workers were there on the site, “even on Christmas Eve,” Joyce added. “That they could get the house finished that quickly is great and frankly, it is what persuaded us to go with Homeway.”

Homeway Homes Happy Homeowners Hurley Home IMG 7067The Hurleys already owned the land and knew they were interested in Homeway after visiting one of its homes about eight years ago. They knocked on the door of a family they knew had a Homeway Home and asked if they could see it. “They let us in and showed us around. They were happy with it. We knew then that’s what we wanted. It just took us longer than we thought it would,” Joyce said.

The Hurleys recently recommended Homeway Homes to another couple. “I hope they use them. I think they’re great,” she said.

Homeway Homes 5 Star Customer RatingAh, the Happy Homeowners! Meet the Beckers.

“It’s two thumbs up, in my estimation. A five-star rating.”

That was the reaction of Shirley Becker when asked about her new Homeway Home in the tiny Livingston County town of Odell and about the process of working with Homeway to get what she wanted.

Shirley said she didn’t have a set floorplan in mind when she walked in at Homeway’s Model Home Center in Goodfield, but she knew what she wanted and needed. She walked out after a long day with her plans for a two-bedroom, two-bath home that is totally accessible under the terms of the Americans With Disabilities Act. “We were there a long time, but it went very well. We got what we needed, the people there were very conscientious and listened to what I had to say. It was a very positive experience.”

She then got to watch the building process in the Homeway construction facility, a process she said made her even more of a believer. “I would definitely recommend Homeway to anyone,” Shirley said.
“We love it.”

Homeway Homes Happy HomeownersMeet the Bowmans.

Gary and Mary Beth Bowman will soon be moving into their new Homeway Home in rural Maquon, Illinois, just about 100 yards from their current home on the family farm. And they are happy with the process.

“These folks have been great to work with, from the beginning. The project manager is a super guy. I know he’s very busy but he always is great with us. Overall, this has been a really good experience,” Gary Bowman said.

Their new home is a three-bedroom ranch that needed a little customizing to fit their needs, including wider doorways and doors. The team at Homeway Homes had no trouble meeting those needs, Gary said.

“It’s a quality product and these folks have been very good to us. I would recommend Homeway Homes to anybody,” he said.
