Quality Built for Better Living
When a tornado took their home, they turned to Homeway Home
The Baughmans lost their home in Washington, IL, to a tornado. Even though it was an emotional time for them, they turned to the Homeway Home Life Recovery Program to get their life started again with a new Homeway Home. Hear their story and see their home.
The Front Door: Because first impressions matter
Do you ever think about the front door to your open? Probably not that often (if at all). But for people driving by your home – or visiting – it’s one of the first things they notice. While it needs to be tough to protect against intruders and weather-resistant to protect against the elements, there also is a visual appeal that’s also important.
Fireplace or no fireplace? What are the benefits?
There are lots of choices you have to make when building a home – and adding a fireplace is a big one. There are aesthetic reasons for adding a fireplace, but there are some very practical reasons too.
When building their forever home, the Hacketts turned to Homeway
After driving by the factory for years and meeting Rick Killday at the Home Show, the Hacketts decided to build their forever home with Homeway Homes. Concerned about having to stick with a certain floor plan, they were surprised to find out they could customize their home to be exactly how they wanted it to be. Not only was their home build custom for them, it was build with the quality and integrity you can always expect from a Homeway Home. Check out the whole story.
Happy Homeowners: The Vogels
The Vogels are in their new home.
Dan Vogel and his wife have been in their new Homeway Homes-built house in Secor since Jan. 23 and they are pleased with what they get to come home to everyday.
Certainly pleased enough that they would recommend Homeway Homes to anybody considering building a home, Dan said. They worked with Rick and Joel from Homeway’s model home center in Goodfield and had a good experience, he added.
“We went with a very modified Montana floor plan because we’d always liked that style of home and the basic design of it was right for us,” Dan said. “We knew pretty much what we wanted inside the house when we first went and Joel was fantastic to work with on the design end of it.”
The Vogels signed their contract in late August 2015, which was six months after they started the process. But Dan said that was all on his family, not Homeway. “We had to decide on everything we wanted and that took a while. Once those decisions were made it went pretty fast. We are pleased,” he said.
“We would definitely recommend Homeway Homes to others, especially if they want to work with good people and want to get it done pretty quickly.”
