Why Build A Homeway Home
A Homeway Home modular home is more than just a module that rolls off our
Illinois
construction line. It’s a place where someone will spend a good portion of their life, most likely with their family and friends, for many years to come. We take that very seriously and very personally. It is our goal that every modular home we build, no matter where it is located in the
Midwest
, is still standing, proudly sheltering those families for years to come.
- Quality - At Homeway Homes we believe that the concept of quality is not just the goal but has to be the reality. That is why we are enthusiastic about telling our quality story and how it relates to real value and better living for our customer. Quality is brought to our customers by 3 important ways: Owner Commitment, Employee Commitment and Quality Materials. More >>

- Built in a Controlled Environment - All Homeway Homes are built indoors in the controlled environment of our 60,000 square ft. state of the art plant. This means the materials on our homes are never exposed to the outside elements such as rain, snow, ice sun, heat, cold, mud or vandalism like a stick built house is. As a result the materials are not subject to warping, swelling, drying out, mold or mildew. More >>
- Shorter Construction Cycle - The construction of your new Homeway Home you purchase from your authorized builder is significantly shorter then a traditionally stick built home. Most of the time the construction cycle is cut in half. More >>
- Open Joist 2000 - The Open Joist 2000 floor truss is an open web, all wood floor truss that is engineered and constructed with superior strength and load capabilities. The strength of these trusses comes from the structural power of the triangle… a building shape as old as civilization. More >>
- Built Quiet - Once you live in your Homeway Home, you will notice how much quieter it is from the outdoor forces such as wind, rain and traffic noise. Sound is transmitted through air. The smallest gap in the walls, ceiling, doors or windows can let sound in. . More >>
- Built Strong - It is no secret, Modular homes in general are built stronger than stick built homes. A Homeway Home is built even stronger. Following is a pictorial list of the reasons why our homes are built so strong. More >>
- Vinyl Floors - Our vinyl floor covering is installed soon after the floor system is built but before any other components are installed such as walls, tubs or cabinets. This way we can efficiently lay a seamless sheet of vinyl that is 16’ wide and up to 72 feet long in a manner of minutes not hours. More >>
