Homeway Homes president Brian Schieler stands on top of a coating of Energy Strength insulation to demonstrate the structural integrity of this innovative new product.. As you can see in the image below, he is not sinking into the insulation. If it can hold a full-grown man up, imagine the weather it can hold out.

The Energy Strength Difference - What It Means to You!

The Energy-Strength Insulation System uses a time-tested and proven technology that has become the standard insulation system for Homeway Homes because today, using regular insulation is just not enough.

Energy-Strength in an environmentally friendly, dense, 2 lb, closed cell, foam insulation that completely fills cracks and gaps in stud and ceiling spaces. We totally envelope your homes' ceiling and walls with Energy-Strength. Energy-Strength has the highest 'R' value available at R 7 per inch compared to fiberglass batt at R 3.5. The Energy-Strength Insulation System eliminates the forces of air infiltration, air intrusion, convection and moisture that contribute to heat loss. Fiberglass and cellulose insulation cannot stop these forces. The Energy-Strength insulation System is spray applied in our construction facility to assure quality application in a controlled environment. This superior insulation system saves you an estimated 40% on energy bills and because it comes standard with all Homeway Homes, it does not cost any extra, so it starts saving you money from the day you move in.

The Energy-Strength system also offers an added structural component to your home, superior strength. In a test conducted by the National Association of Home Builders Research Center, it was concluded that a 2x4 wall sprayed with polyurethane foam insulation had twice the racking strength than a wall filled with fiberglass batt insulation. (Test results available upon request.) What does this mean to you?

With this added rigidity, there will be less wall movement, creaking and popping due to shaking and vibrations. Additionally, your walls and ceilings have greater than required resistance to racking events such as tornados and strong wind situations. Your home will also be quieter from outside disturbances.

What is the Energy-Strength advantage? Your home has two times the insulation value and two times the strength than regular wall and ceiling construction at no extra cost. Energy-Strength makes sense all the way around your home. Contact a sales representative for more information.

Applying Energy Strength around an outlet

Energy Strength Spray Foam Insulation is only as good as the application, and our construction facility application technicians are experts. The pictures below show just how we apply the Foam around an electrical outlet. We are able to apply the insulation more accurately ensuring no air gaps because our insulation is applied from the back side of the wall, after the drywall, electrical and plumbing have all been set in place and anchored. The result is a better, more complete application, making your home much tighter from an insulation standpoint, and structurally superior in terms of strength.

2009 SPFA Industry Excellence Awards

sprayfoam 2010Homeway Homes was selected for an award at the 2009 SPFA Industry Excellence Awards in the category of Residential Wall Foam. The company realized that spray foam has unique benefits to modular construction in regard to providing a virtually stress-crack free building which is an inherent challenge for modular homes when considering the rigors of transporting modular units hundreds of miles to the customers building site.
